Granny's gone and done it again

I have to pick up the cat at 430 as far as i know now. I told DH if the dog was suffering or refused to eat or drink to take him in and get him put down. I fully expected to come home and have a dog to bury. But when i came home, the dog was eating hard food and drinking water! And then he went over and jumped up on the sofa! I am thrilled!
Plus i went to Walmart and they were clearing out fencing, i paid $9 for a big roll of chicken wire and $7 per roll of hardware cloth! I bought all they had! I may use it in the garden. What a deal.

Almost had a really bad boo-boo in the torture chamber. Boiling a bag of frozen chili and went to push down to get it in the water. It snapped in half and water came flying and I can stil move when I need to.

Went back to dollar general today. Signs said "green dot: 25% off and additional 50% off." Same thing for "select garden." Something for $1 should've been 38¢. Most rang up 50¢ or 75¢. So I went back and spoke with the manager.

"Well, it's not ALL green dot or ALL garden." Right. But I got these things from where the sign was. She just shrugged. So now I'm mad at DG again. I miss my little guy.

Oo, very frustrating. Not sure what the law is on LA, but if something is marked, store has to see it for the price. Never had a manager argue over it. Most want repeat customers. Times are tough for retail stores.
I miss the rant guy too. Cathartic... always made me feel better.
