I'm one of the farthest, but I've never been to LA. Would like to see the Mississippi too. and the Gulf. and Texas. When do all those snakes hibernate? That would be a good time to go.

Christmas! Also hurricane season is over and our weather is cool, damp, and foggy like yours. Then a few months later is Mardi Gras! Anything after Easter is getting warm enough for snakes, but the flowers bloom and the sun is so lovely! If you don't dig around under bushes or live in the chicken coop you'll likely never even see one.

Gonna cook everything in frig over next 4 days in anticipation of losing power Monday. Have plenty of charcoal for cooking on grill if we lose power. We will grill meat in f reezer over the frig. Spent $54 on more prep food today. I cook from scratch so we didn't have canned fruit & meat. We have a well so we won't have water if we lose lectricitty.

TSC had baby chicks. I walked past them quickly to get to the cracked corn. Gotta start some fermenting. Gotta fill barrel with water for the chickens. Gotta think about how i'm gonna make it safe for all the critters. Ready to eat roasted broccoli,red pepper, onion with ranch. Yum.

Jane have you ever done cauliflower rice? I'm thinking about trying it and also making the cauliflower pizza crust.

5 beds now. Not the captains but a bed anyway. I am in the front room now w/ no tv. I dont care but Tom will.
My computer cord is sparking so I will have a dead battery yet again.
