Well I know the lorps are good layer's but the roo's seem a little on the mean/nasty side.

So far every boy I've had has been a bit testy lol

People have the idea that brown eggs taste better than white eggs, 'specially if they're used to buying eggs at the local grocery store.

A lot around here want white eggs. I think they all taste the same. Store eggs are gross my mom had bought "good store eggs" 2x over the summer.

This is interesting. If the eye is swollen with pus then it's probably draining slightly from the beak. I'd want that eye drained. That poor bird probably had a good bit of pressure on her head.

Fluttershy has two weeks and two days left on her two eggs. So far plugging the gaps in the door with mud and feed sacks has worked.

I have an eye thread, not exactly the same but similar. If you find it then you could link it to them? Kathy helped walk me through the treatment.

Makes me want to clean it up and flush the eye I always liked gross stuff lol

On fb it was said/suggested that these were some of the local semi-feral birds, and that the hens were in cages/crates/kennels. Might explain the differences in combs? I think most game breeds don't have those comb types (to minimize damage).

Well that sure makes me feel better. They probably don't think they are being rescued! Game birds have quite large combs. That where dubbing comes in.
