Granny's gone and done it again

Bubba has blisters on his lips and inside his nose. At first we thought it was poison ivy, but it's spreading and not drying up with calamine lotion. So now we've narrowed it down to cold sores, impetigo, or hand/foot/mouth.

Hand foot and mouth is going around here. 1 at the elementary and 3 at the high school.

And they're so threatening about truancy! One school near us has proposed/enacted (can't remember) charging $3 for tardiness.

That's crazy! Here was 18 days then they could fail you. But it changed to hours this year but I'm not sure how many.

Rural king was packed. They had 7 tubs of chicks. 2 breeds in each. And 1 tub of ducks. I looked but did not buy any.

Hmmm. Broody ain't broody anymore or else I'd say send em my way! and nuts to the husband. I'd rather have noisy birds than snakes!!!

We got up to frost this morning, apparently mother nature did not check her calendar. She must have skipped over to October
