Fluttershy hatched her baby, but she won't take care of it. I found it wedged under the fence, rescued it, and put it under her. 20 mins later she had pushed it 2ft away again. So now I have a bathroom duck, just like nature intended. Fingers crossed for the sweet little ling. It's still got a little bit of yolk, not nearly to worst I've ever seen. Hoping getting warm will help a bit.

I had decided to splint little Webby and hope for the best, but when I went for her she was no longer. Too bad, because she really had seemed to be doing ok.![]()

I'm trying to con him into lifting the wagon and letting me have that as a desert toy. No turbo no care. Not like I'd be too crazy on it.
lattice is about chewed up. its no good. read the ad, it says it graduates from 4x8in. to 6x?Get bigger? Like up to 6?
If you attached it over the lattice then he couldn't chew out, hm?
How is the perch attached ?I finished the siding on side 2 of the coop. Then i had to go water the ground around the fire stack of wood because it suddenly set itself on fire! There must have been some live coals under there, and DH was in the house but had just come out when it burst into flames. We generally wait to night time to burn because there is less wind. But it worked out ok and now i get to spend the evening inside!
I also got the spacer made for the run, painted it and put welded wire on one side and chicken wire on the other. I am having to work around a large tree in the run , so building the top is going to be a challenge. I attached one panel to the coop, which was difficult with the round surface of the siding but i coped. As darkness hit, DH held the second panel and i hooked it on. Much more to be done tomorrow. Happy to get started on the run for my babies!View attachment 1149221
