Granny's gone and done it again

I noticed my LF chickens and some of them are young since there is a ton of room in there they have been running, hopping, just generally having a fun. Its cute to watch them. The Jubilees dont do that but they are so heavy they probably cant.
I am pretty bummed about losing a lot of them but they are happy including the ones he bought because they are all free ranged over there. I didnt realize ALL my blue egg layers are gone. I do have what is called a super blue egg layer but I dont think she has laid. She is solid white and I think a cross between leggern and EE.

Hmm new experiment!

OH, forgot to say, Boys dont need books. CB got that from the school library and the others can as well. Not sure what its going to cost as the pup chewed it .
About $10 give or take depending where it’s bought. Mom will accept a new copy of what was ruined but won’t accept a paperback if the original was hardback.

BIG IMPROVEMENT IN THE LITTLE LING. This morning it was still rag doll limp, couldn't support its head or open its eyes, never peeped. Just laid curled under the lamp.

BUT now its head is up, eyes open, peeping, and scooting around the cage. :yesss:

Oh, that is just wonderful! So happy for you! When i raised finches, occasionally one would fall out of the nest. Bare naked and so tiny, you might think they were dead. But i would pick them up, cup them in my hands and breathe warm air on them. They would make a comeback and i tucked them back in the nest! Worked if you discovered them soon enough.

According to the people I got them from, but I have not got an egg from brownie shes supposed to lay green eggs. When i got the 2 leghorns 1 ran off for about a week and I was getting eggs from the other. I finally got her back home but still only 1 egg a day.
Sometimes when you move them it takes a couple of weeks to resume laying.
