Granny's gone and done it again

why you got her with that little roo ? Maybe thats why she aint laying? Dont like the company shes keeping ! hahaa
Because she’s so low in rank that the others attack her. I have 6 other standards her age and 4 of them are in another coop because they attack the 2 EEs and her. I’m hoping to move some around but those darn red chickens cause problems with my plans.

I seen @Watermelon123 on a couple days ago. She would be able to help

Alright, just hopping on here (truly, there was no pun intended) But it all depend on what you want. Like crazy colors, fur patters, or even size. Over the years, the BEST breed I have ever dealt with would be either New Zealands or Californians. The ones I have have been really calm, "zen bunnies" we call them, and do about average in heat. I try to stray away from lops because they are REALLY prone to back teeth issues as well as ear issues. I can't remember who said it, but dwarfs are mean, i just find it that the smaller they are, the more concentrated the hate is. dutches and rexes can go both ways. Lionheads you have to be careful with because at least over here, they are really over bred.

rabbits live 10 yr ??

Rabbits can live to be 12 (the oldest is 14), though most only live to be three. The oldest I ever had was 13, a little mix named "Pearl".

Thanks melon! I think for us bigger would be better because the kids could pet without wanting to hold. The Californians sound really appealing, thought I'm concerned by the "dense" fur. When I was very young my BFFs family raised rabbits and they swore by the Dutch rabbits, which is one that I looked into but no one else has mentioned.
