Have the sauce heating up in the roaster in the oven. Running a load of dishes in the washer. Will then have to run a load of jars thru. BEST THING EVER for canning a dishwasher. Cleans, sterilizes and keeps your jars hot.

I think the motor in the dish washer is Dieing a slow and noisey death. Hopefully it will last canning season.

Hawk was out of the nest so I took another quick peek. Eggs are now muddy from all the rain yesterday. But still developing good. The OEGB eggs are the most developed it looked like. They have good veins but getting dark and a lot of movement in there. Early hatch? They are day 6/7 so I’m betting by day 19.

seramas hatch day 18 for me . I just pull them so they continue to sit.

I remember my mother washing jars and then sticking them mouth side down in a cake pan of hot water on the stove. To keep the jars hot enough to safely can with out the jars exploding
