I feel like it’s Halloween and it shouldn’t matter if you paint your skin. (Most women add color to their skin most of the year) It’s not like it’s done negatively. The world is becoming a sensitive sally. Where is the line drawn?

Before long everything is going to be considered offensive and that’s no way to live.

I'm straddling the line on this one because I really identify with both sides. Ultimately for myself, I think a caricature of an occupation is ok (like a cowboy, or a pirate) but a caricature of a race is not ok (like Native American, or Asian). But then where is the line? Is it ok to dress as an Egyptian pharaoh or a geisha or a gypsy? Why is a grass skirt and coconut bra ok to do?

I have lots of internals struggles. But I believe it comes down to intent. What is the reason I chose to dress this way? To honor something I identify with, or to get a good laugh?

The year that bubba was a hot dog I sure didn't have any problems.

Intent is important. Preferably good lol but sometimes a good laugh is needed but not when it’s harmful. Like Bubba being a hot dog

Yep. I’ve been punched, kicked, had a runner and had a kid fake something for attention that about made me flip my shiit since it could have been serious if it was real. I’ll probably be dying my hair tomorrow to cover the grey.
