Granny's gone and done it again

If your legs aren't working so great, it's probably nerves. Maybe they can make some improvements. Don't wait too long to find out. My friend ruptured a disk and there was a flap of cartilage pressing on a nerve. She was losing feeling in one leg, foot went numb. They scheduled the surgery right away and dr couldn't guarantee full feeling or use. She's better now, so got lucky.

Isn't there anything that can be done to help? Were you a wild thing when young? Blow your ears out at loud rock concerts?
Nope just a hard worker, brother took care of the ears with HIS loud music. Spent a year having to drive him around. He had 9 speakers in his truck, suprised I can hear anything.

Lot of time, you can manage pain with over the counter stuff. Too much of the heavy duty stuff gets prescribed when the person really doesn't need it. Not helping with the country's drug problem. My son got wisdom teeth pulled and they gave him a huge prescription for narcotic pain pills. I never filled it. He did fine on a combo of Tylenol and Advil.
I say if you have to take 2 tylenol to control the pain of what one PP will do I rather take the PP and I believe it to be safer. tylenol is crap on the liver

Yeah, but broken bones hurt worse than pulled teeth. And the bones keep on hurting every move you make.

scary seems like if they did it right and killed the nerve the pain would of been gone.
It's supposed to help with the pain of the crumbling vertebrae & pinching nerves but I only had a month of relief. And only marginally at that. The procedure was very painful. Putting the needle into your vertebrae is painful enough, but the steriods they pump in burns like fire & then when they guide the needle into the nerve endings and start cauterizing it is beyond painful. It hurt to even cry. They have to do the procedure that way so that between their special xray machine & my response they know when they have reached the nerve ending. This had to be done in 3 spots on both sides of the spine.
