Granny's gone and done it again

Tree fell on my chicken coop during hurricane Opal. Had 8 hens & a roo. All but 1 hen was killed.
Morning Granny land. 32* this am. Haven't been outside yet. 11 baby chicks are growing good. Eating & pooping. No pasty buts

Sorry for your loss, that must have been heart breaking. I was really upset when i lost a goat due to a tree crushing their shelter.

I used to be able to tell the temperature in a fish tank with my finger. I had a lot of fish tanks!

Got my sales and bed tax quarterlies done this am. Then only need to be post marked by the 31 of Oct.

Farm on weds and thurs this week. Woke up to some snow on the ground. NOT complaining as I appreciate all the extra time Ma Nature gave me this year. BUT an extra week or tow more would have been nice.
