Forgot to wear a dust mask while cleaning out the coop,

Spent most of last night trying to hack out a lung. Yuri and Missallette are both gimped up NOT sure what they did. In other words we are ALL moving slow this am. Beth and Lu are even subdued

Should I ever actually BUILD a coop from scratch instead of re-purposing There are going to be garage doors and a way to use a bobcat with a bucket to clean it out.

Fridges used to last 20 years, so now they engineer them to break down much sooner. They sell more that way. Buying a warranty is a good plan. Sadly.

I know,they told me they only last 10 years now. So mine went out at three. It will cost 250 to fix. Probably the price of a warranty.

4eggs/8hens laid in goat house by 8am. Of course they all cracked when I tilted the house to roll them out. And yes, they have 2 nest boxes they could lay in. How does goat/Charger not break them. Should I give up &put a cardboard nest box in there?

Gonna cook dried little Lima beans, cabbage, cornbreAd, smoked sausage for lunch/supper. Wish I had beet pickles to go with. Think I got 1 more jar of green mators pickles.
