When I was treating the chickens I seen something made me like that jubilee rooster.
They still sleep in the floor but these guys were playing instead of sleeping. One of them had turned the light on in there so I was trying to corner them to treat them and they all ran in a corner and the roo got over them and spread his wings totally protecting them . He covered his 3 hens and one other with his massive span.
The best thing is that he didn't go after you while protecting his flock. He's a prince!

Cool here and the rain is on its way. Long list of things to do inside. Hopefully I well get off this evil computer and get some of it done!

I tried digging sweet potatoes, they are not ready yet. So i am going to try rooting the vines i dug for next year.
My first sign, no stain on it yet.

Pics of littles in their clean coop!

I'm banding guineas today. Of the seven roaming the yard, six of them are female! :yesss: Only six left with the cochins. I need to listen to their sounds when they're calm; when I was cleaning they only screamed at me. I'm adding the four bator littles TONIGHT and hopefully cleaning the bator so when the man buys my broody I can finish her eggs.
