Yes, because we really wanted a child and the first pregnancy was one i lost.Oh, that's so hard.
Well the baby and mother have separate circulation and baby is in salt water, so kind of pickled. One lady carried an unborn baby for like 40 years!
Oh, that's good to hear. She is really having trouble eating... not good aim with one eye. She will need a deep bowl of crumble to get enough. She is perking up, so whatever is the problem is going away. Maybe then she will have enough energy to handle being back with the others. Vet suspected sinus infection. He said most of their head is sinus! She is getting good at taking the pill quarters. I coat them in olive oil, get them in her mouth and hold her until she swallows. She likes the eye drops. Must feel good.
So sad. You get all excited, and then it's gone.
The only little comfort is ones that don't survive maybe had some sort of problem that caused it. It's hard no matter what.- Thread starter

No one here would think it odd or funny you took your chicken to the vet. Its expected almost. She didnt "catch" anything so probably was a peck

Yeah i saw a show about it. The lady did not know the baby was there.
