Granny's gone and done it again

hate to hear about the wings. They dont need grit til they start laying . They will be free ranging by then and can get their own.

They will be bill deep in snow when they start BUT that means I might have a broody or x? this spring.
 
At least one of the supposedly white ones has light brown cheeks and is a vicious thing to the littler lings. Actually all 3 white(ish) ones are "MEAN"
I have had 5 ducks in my life and all the same bread. pekin.

I did not think they did BUT they are getting "extras" like peas, green beans and such.

ohh they cant get to grit ? Shoot. yes, seems like you have a chance of littles late spring /early summer
 
Mine stopped using the heat and were out foraging weeks ago. Of course it’s not as cold here.

It was 60 when we went out to the farm and very overcast. But 3:30 down into the 40's and wind gusts up to the 40's MPH that is. Strong winds always make the Yaks "squirley"
