That is a way to big to be that close to the house oak tree. We have cut it so it doesn't overhang the house, and to compensate, it leans a bit outward and the branches touch the ground, making a big tree cave in front of the house. Keeps it cool in the summer and gives us complete privacy. I have a hammock under there.

Yes, Christmas tree is real! Wouldn't be Christmas for me without one. Noble fir. Henry was very excited!

Those are just sheers that came with the house. We didn't like the curtains, so got rid of them but kept the sheers. I washed them this summer. If you had seen them before that, you would have thought they were grey!! hahahaa... It had been awhile since they were washed. Still can't decide on new curtains or blinds, so we just keep the sheers. Tree keeps it very private.

sheers are perfect. dont need anything else IMO. tree is so unusual . real Christmas tree is pretty too !
Camping I think it would be fun to make . Hot glue goes pretty fast.
