Granny's gone and done it again

Ally, I was worried when you first came on because of your age. It didnt take long to realize you are probably way more mature then a lot of people including myself and I am glad you are here.
:D I’m not as mature as I let on lol I’ve grown up a lot in the past couple years. I’m glad I’m here and I can call you all my friends :hugs
Guess its my turn to go sliding down the ramp. I cant wait no more !
Be careful! :hugs

Bandit is some type of bird dog. He gets too excited when big birds fly overhead and now the little birds . Point is, he is lunging at my windows when they come to the feeder. Think its possible he can go through the glass ? Its double pane tilt out windows and yes I have been tempted to open them about the time he lunges. LOL
PITA should not be crashing into the window. :hmm He might not break the pane, but he will probably break the seal around it, losing the vacuum between and ruining the insulation it provides. You will also get condensation between the panes.

Hello all. Sunny and warm... going to have a nice quiet day at home, decorate my tree.

For the past few days, I have been letting the Seramas out in the yard for a few hours since I hadn't seen or heard the hawk for weeks. Yesterday, I let them out for the whole day while I was out with my sis. I figured I was pushing my luck, and guess you can only do that so far... this morning, hubs saw the hawk with a quail. :rant Dangit! Had my birds here for 4 years and no resident hawk ever to worry about. Now I am trying to figure out plan for a netted area they can go and get some sun and grass. The covered run doesn't get much sun, especially this time of year. At least the hawk doesn't seem interested in the large hens.

I think all this is because my big dog Belle died this summer.:( She kept everything out of the yard, including quail. Now that she's gone, and Scooter spends more time in the house, the quail have moved back in and brought the hawk with them. Feel bad for my Seramas... going to go chop them some kale.

well I have another little serama with a floppy foot. Dont know if its the start of the same thing as the the I culled or not. Seems a bit different. The foot itself flops backwards and trembles. Seems to be getting around ok.
Taking care of the tolbunts and seen one limping. Bout had a heart attack. Grabbed it up to check it out and it had a poop ball the size of Texas on the middle part of its foot. :gig:bow Little one is for sure blind in one eye. Pizzs me off because It was born that way making them not good breeding stock right ?
Wishing, I guess PITA has already done that with the window as I see the condensation.
