Granny's gone and done it again

Fight yes but also they’d breed their mom and sisters if we kept them. We change the bull every few years just to add different genetics.

That was my plan as well BUT then along came Porter and his 70% son ratio. SO now I am not sure what I am doing

We usually have a lot of bulls and few heifers. We kept a yearling heifer and sold the rest in the summer. I only kept her cause her markings and she’s out of freckles. She’s the one with a backwards 7. Her name is Sven lol Hayley is the one walking on the left, Mr. Brown in the middle, and you can see Fireflies head in the back lol

I like /prefer an unusual marking makes it easier to identify when out in the pasture. OF course then the buggers have to actually look at you. OTHER then Porter that is.

The minimum uniform design load for your home (built after 1978) is probably 40 lbs/sq ft with a min. 200-pound concentrated load on a one-inch diameter disc. (HUD Code Sec. 3280.305)
Just in case someone can explain to me how bid a fish tank is allowed in mobil homes
It depends on the size of your cabinet base. Say the base is 3'x4', that makes 12sq ft. Then 40 lbs for every sq ft is 12x40= 480lbs total weight allowed, including weight of base, tank, and gravel. Each gallon of water weighs 8 1/3 lbs. So size of tank depends on base size. They are saying this is a minimum load, which makes me think you could go heavier, but don't know what the max is from that info.

Up until freckles had a heifer calf all cows were solid black except freckles. I could tell them apart and who belonged to who. I spent a lot of time with them though so that’s probably why. Now there’s 3 with white on their faces. Fireflies heifer looks exactly like her so I think she may need a tag.
