I havent let the seramas out of the coop or unwrapped the polish yet. Big ol headache

They probably wouldn't go anyway. Mine are nuts, especially the SS. They rush right out as soon as i open the pop door. Looking for scratch.

They have been dying off slowly. 4 pullets died. I had 12 SS chicks shipped and all survived the trip as did the 12 polish. One polish rooster died so far, of course the best looking one!
I have 2 SS cockerels and 6 pullets left. They say most birds with Mereks die around 6 months of age. Doesn't sound hopeful.

I am thinking by keeping the door shut it will stay a little warmer in there. They claim seramas cant take anything below 40 degrees. I have mixed some of mine with a drop of silkie to make them more hardy so I guess they can just be called bantams and not seramas but I do still have full serama too and so far they have handled these winters .
