so woke up to is sort of snowing high of 26 today and then low of -20* tonight. and Windchill warning/advisory for the next couple days.

Heres a good one for ya, I got mail from treasurer and home loan yesterday. Mortgage says I am not living up to my end of the loan by owing property tax. Treasurer says I owe back taxes. Seems they contacted the mortgage co, before they did me. Nasty letter says if they are forced to take care of this themselves.. bla bla bla...
I know for fact I paid what was owed. I went down there and did it.
The amount in question> $4.05

UFFDA this is why I hate/abhor/despise property taxes. You never truly own the land BECAUSE if you don't pay the tax they (ptb) can sell your property for back taxes.

did you pay by check ?? maybe find your bank statement and cancelled check THEN you have proof.

they should have contacted you both about the same time BUT since the bank holds the note/loan they come first.
