well chores are calling my name and I should probably put away the nativity set.

I leave that out longer as the wise men actually aren't supposed to make it/arrive until Epithany and I feel they should get to spend some time with the Holy Family.

LOL BUT then I would need to set/hatch over 100 eggs to hopefully end up with 50 pullets. THATS a lot of feed. And currently I have 10 dux in the brooder room as I think the little-dux-coop got to small or the boys grew to fast and there was a lot of feather eating/pulling going on. They are much more "evil" then chicks that way.

yeah but you could set eggs at your convenience. And being able to tell gender at hatch, so wouldn’t have to feed out boys and not have to worry about waiting for new chicks in the mail. But then you MIGHT turn out to be a hatching maniac

Brought leftovers for the farm and caught a rare glimpse of guineas displaying their natural distrust of spaghetti in the wild. Thought granny would get a kick out of it.

Cinder and Jim are their favorite chickens. Cinder raised a few of them, and Jim sticks with them and tidbits around the yard.
