The top 2 pictures were my best momma's. They would hatch anything. The first white one I called Fiona. She would have her babies outside after 2 days, even when there was a dusting of snow on the ground.

they look like good mommies! I hope mine wait awhile to go broody. It stressed me out last year with 2 lol

I had 80 plus birds & those silkies wanted to sit back to back. I was just too overwhelmed at the time. Have not liked a breed as much as I liked them since. Just hate the over broodiness

you know the "seramas " you hatched from my eggs have some silkie in them.

I know & they are sweet too, just as d@MN broody too. Your granny bird is being the enabler to Ya Betty having eggs to sit on.
