Granny's gone and done it again

Lisa has me concerned that hatching silkies are different. Need different humidity. I can’t see into these eggs, they look weird, completely full , I can’t see an air cell at all. I can’t find my special flashlight. I tried my cell phone but I didn’t see any more with that. Just weird eggs. The few LF I have in there’s i don’t see an aircell either.
Im sorry Julie, I didn't mean to scare you. They need humidity just like the LF do. I just ran into trouble when I first starting hatching them because a ran a handful of silkie eggs in a full incubator of mainly LF. When the LF started hatching it created too much humidity for some of the Silkie eggs. It ended up drowning them before they could get pipped. Only thing I would recommend in the future would to incubate seperately. Sorry I confused you. You may not have any trouble at. Sounds like you are close to locking down. Good luck with your hatch.

Wow I want me some of them colors, lol.

How many eggs did you end up incubating ? Is that the right way to ask that ? LOL Put under the hen.

The one hona has 12. Not sure how many I’ll give the other one. Guess I’ll see how many I have after church.

What makes a chick’s wings stick straight out like angel wing? One of the buff orp chicks is like that.

I had one with last year's hatch. What caused mine was the chick grew to all one side of the shell, had a wonky aircell from the get go. I never thought it would hatch, but she did. She ended up having a deformed wing. She can't fly, but she is a great layer.
