Just got home. DH texted last night that the gray silkie was dead. Oh well, we tried. I hear chicks crying so I go check and two buff orps are also dead. Think the ones with broken wings, need to check. They were acting puffy. Also their water is empty and bedding is soaked, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Hubby is out sawing up wood. Despite his bad back. Gotta love a tough guy.
There is a house nearby up for salvage. Might call them once i get chores done.

It was the two with messed up wings. They were also super pasted up the other day. I put vitamins/probiotics in the water but it may have just been too late for them. I think it’s too hot in the bathroom. I’m going to try to get them out tomorrow.

I’ve heard that too, which is why I mentioned it. That’s the likely cause.
