I’ve heard that too, which is why I mentioned it. That’s the likely cause.
2 green eggs, 2 polish eggs this am. Critters fed.
Camp, my DD had that pallet garden going good 2 years ago. Had to move due to discovery of black mold in the house. 4 squash/pallet, corn, beans, cantelope, peppers, tomatoes. Lay the tomato plants down in the row. Only leave the top above soil. She put landscape fabric below the pallets. Put the pallets down end against end to make it easier to mow around and keep the vines put back up on the pallet. She had pole beans & had put up a teepee they were growing on.
I know more about gardening than about chickens.
Some kind of short staalk sweet corn. Don't know the name. Oh yeah she planted some popcorn too. You know corn has shallow roots with prop rootsAre you on my garden thread? I’d love to have you follow along. How did she do corn in the pallets?

Made a list for tomorrow's excursion. Toooooo long. Probably won't get it all done. There may be another day, God willing. Put on it to visit a breeder nearby for naked necks & EEs. Nooooo, don't go there ,jane. Also have seen 2 places with goats I want to check out--top priority.

I have read most of it, camp, & have posted a couple of times. I stay too busy with my gkids & critters. My reading is usually done in the middle of the night when I wake up with pain in my back & leg.Are you on my garden thread? I’d love to have you follow along. How did she do corn in the pallets?
