How is Yertle? Getting bigger?Been a crazy day here.was exhausted mentally from work. Came home, did chicken chores(broody isn’t as quiet as Hawk was), candled eggs(all alive and AC looks ok.), and cleaned Yertles tank out. It was a mess!
The red ahi tuna is different than the canned kind. When it's fresh, it's super mild and no smell at all. Buttery, like Camping said, about describes it. My mom got it at a restaurant and made them take it back and cook it... she was scared to eat it raw.
Chicken fettuccine alfredo and asparagus. Strawberries for dessert.

It’s so good. Velvety and such good flavor. Tuna steak just melts. Not like chewy rare beef.
First time I had in was in Maui. Hub's brother's father in law was a fisherman, and he caught an ahi that morning. He cut this huge solid cube of meat, like 6 inches each side, seared it on a barbeque and started handing out chunks of basically raw fish. I'd never had it before, hadn't been dating hubs long, and did want to be rude so I tried it. The expectation of it being strong and fishy was so far off from how it was, I was shocked. Since then, I have eaten a lot of strange things, but to me, not much is better than a roasted chicken.
