Granny's gone and done it again

I used to read this master gardener a lot. (before computer) He was asked what his secret was to such strong healthy trees. His answer stuck with me forever. He quoted the Bible. Spare the rod, spoil the child. Then he went on to explain. When he planted a tree he would cut a switch and go out there and "whip" the tree . They built up scar tissue that made them strong. Not exactly his words but close enough .
People think I'm crazy enough as it is without seeing me whip my trees

hahaa would be an odd site . Truth though, someone told me to cut my tree to get fruit. It was on here but I had heard it before too.

It’s so cold and windy today. I moved the honas and white EE over to the goat coop. The EE laid her egg in the box instead of the rafters! :yesss: and I caught TuTu sitting in the box with Mae West. So maybe she will lay in the nest and the others will, too. :fl

Morning, I don't tolerate the masks well. Have tried many, no luck. The only good it does is waking up in the morning with it thrown on the floor. At some point thru the night I take it off.
They have smaller ones now, it really does mess with your health. I know from experience.
