according to the weather man we got a total of 6 inches of snow. Have appointment with the vet for thurs afternoon for toes and tails and vet check for Beth as well.

yep I usually leave about 1/2 of the tail. AKC requires docking BUT not a specified length.
She's strong enough now?
Beth's being and excellent mother if a pup gets to far away she gentle grabs it with her mouth and brings/drags it over for "bath time"

seems to be I will weigh her in a bit and see how she is doing. LOTS of puppy drama going on, squeaks,squeals, screams and such driving poor Lu nuts she wants in so badly, and the last screams pulled Missallet right to the edge of the box before she remembered that Beth is in the take no prisoners type of mood.

I imagine that long beautiful tail would be a mess of burs and fox tails working in the field
