Granny's gone and done it again

It comes from untreated strep throat. IF its what he has all his skin will sloff off and left untreated again it can turn into rheumatic fever and damage the heart.

OH
Sweet Jesus I hope he doesn't have it and recovery fully from what ever it is.

well I am now 3 for 3, 3 different mother's and each lost a liver and white female in their first litter. Beginning to think the "Dog God" demands a sacrifice. Can't be genetic , as I don't think/believe genetics would be the specific for both color and sex
My deepest condolences for your loss. :hugs

Alley I lost your quote. I wasnt sure when they were due because I wasn’t sure when she started setting. I saw a clutch of honas eggs, but didn’t get them. A few days later I locked the coop. A few days after that I went for the eggs and was surprised to see a broody on them! Luckily she had food and water. The honas had all migrated to the layer coop but I guess I was miscounting, because one was clearly left behind. So I when I candled i guessed that she was 7-10 days in. And I was right on the money. :yesss:

the one that stopped moving, how long ago? Give it a safety hole. Then you can hear it better too. So all you have left is one thats pipped and the one that stopped moving ?
I did, that’s how I found out it’s not moving.

Yep that’s all that’s left. So currently 16 fluffy butts out of 18 eggs. Not bad.
