Granny's gone and done it again

Wishing - our neighbor has 5 or 6 ridgebacks. It’s insane. And one is a crazy barker. But most are okay. There’s one that’s a real sweetheart (but he does not like peach!) (don’t worry. They only meet by a common fence. I would never ever EVER introduce my dog to a freaking pack of eight...eight or nine hmmm... big dogs (there’s also a rottie, a golden and a spaniel at the house)

Awfully cute! Is Sparkles going to be jealous?

She knows she’s still my special little nugget.

ohh exciting about the dog. I hope its a good fit. I just checked on him again. No change. The ice might of took some of the swelling down but didnt help the pain none of course. I didnt look at Roberts throat . He just said it hurt. He has the same dr as Tom. Can you believe that little jub was crowing ? hahaa
What was dinner ?
Dinner lunch or dinner dinner?
#1 and I went to Applebee's. I got a burger, surprisingly good, and he got shrimp Alfredo with broccoli, which he loves, even with the broccol!
For dinner, hubs and I went and picked up burritos at Lila's, our favorite place. Lila gives hubs Spanish lessons when we go in. I wasn't hungry, so get burrito for lunch tomorrow!

That is insane. Way too many dogs. We had 3 different Ridgebacks over the years and they rarely barked... left that up to the other dogs. Neighbor bred them for a time, and no barking from hers, but I didn't like the look of them... skinny runty looking dogs. Generally, they don't like socializing with people or dogs outside their pack. Not usually mean, just disinterested. My brother had a friend over once, and the guy (he was a big guy), without being introduced, leaned right over into Tasha's face... so she bit him! :( He apologized, said he knew dogs and was stupid to have done that, didn't know why he did it... had to see the dr about the nip under his eye, and of course it had to be reported. My mom was furious! Tasha had a record!
So you see, you can't really mess with them, they have a mind of their own. Now I know there in no excuse for a dog to bite, very very bad dog! but it really was the smallest of nips. And considering what she could have done to that big dummy, I thought she showed considerable restraint.

so your mom wasnt mad at the dog right ? LOL
Robert said his throat is starting to hurt worse .
Mad at the dog? No, I think she was a bit horrified and worried, but not mad at the dog. My brother got all her mad! (She was too polite to yell at a guest, but I heard he was embarrassed and left very quickly.) Dog was provoked. To have a big man come into her house and loom over her and suddenly bend over and stick his face right in hers... I think he even said something or made a noise when he did, like woofed at her... hell, I would have bit him if he did that to me. Even the animal control people, who came out the next day to do the report, were understanding, but they still had to do it. Dog got a year probation.

so Robert has a drs appt tomorrow with old GI I tried to get DD to take it and she said no. also her GI that she couldnt get in with. She said the vitamin patches and probiotics she is taking is helping her.
