I got another feeder almost built, just need part of one side and the top. Painted too! I went out to check the bunnies and 2 babies were out of the nest box! Its freaking cold out. So i moved some rabbits around and took NoToes and her babies in the barn. Where i saw two mice tonight, by the way! I need more concrete. And mouse poison.

Does that mean they are old enough to be took away ?

We are getting 5 Australorps (blues and blacks!). We have two dogs, a blue heeler and a Staffie mix, and some fishes. My cat died last week - two loose dogs caught her and tore her in half and tried to eat her I’ve had other birds in the past, and my mother had chickens, but I’m very excited to have some for our family! Our coop and run will definitely be fenced and covered. We live near a mountain park, and although it’s unlikely the coyotes will come down this far, I’ve seen plenty of hawks in our neighborhood. Plus, our dogs are crazy

So sorry about your cat. Considering getting a barn cat. I have 2 Siamese that are house cats, Mom and son.
What kind of fish? I have had fish tanks off and on since i was a kid.
I have 4 Speckled Sussex, 11 Buff Laced Polish, 14 Guineas of assorted colors, a German Shepherd, a Papillon and untold numbers of rabbits. Quail and guinea eggs in 2 incubators, and 18 more quail in the mail. Goats are also forecast in the future!

No, i will not start weaning until at least 6 weeks. But they can start eating hay and pellets any time. It is illegal to sell them under 8 weeks of age in VA.

Spots are in! My favorite baby Lop is the only one i have seen out of the nest box. Its not scared of me at all. Hopped right up to me and i picked her up and put her in my jacket while i fed the rabbits. I need to get more rabbit cages and another brooder made!
