Granny's gone and done it again

A Winter Storm Warning is Issued on the First Day of Spring
March 20, 2018

It turns out that the groundhog was pretty much right on last month.

Even though today is the first day of spring, a Winter Weather Advisory and more recently, a Winter Storm Warning are officially in effect from 8PM tonight (Tuesday) until 2PM Wednesday, March 21st, 2018.

According to the National Weather Service, what’s expected is accumulating snow on Tuesday evening through Wednesday and rain is expected to changeover to snow this afternoon and evening across the entire WKM Viewing Area.

We are talking slick and slushy snow.

Accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are expected by Wednesday and higher amounts are indeed possible for portions of Southern and Southeast Indiana and North Central Kentucky, especially in Jefferson, Scott, Floyd, Clark and Washington Counties.

The snow will be heavy and downed trees and power lines are possible.

Tomorrow is pain clinic No shows get fired.
Hi all, grocery shopping is done Still have chickens and dinner to do. including the prolapse . Sparkles would of made a great mama .
Lots of pain and not wanting to do anything. Bought some burgers I thought were beef. they are brats. any idea on how long to fry them ?

Camping hugs. Just gotta do one project at a time.

Cap - huge huge hugs. Keep us posted. All good vibes from me.

The little peeps are getting big and sparkles is not impressed.

Funny thing is they got another batch of silver laced wyandottes - all looking like my wyanrock. So either wherever they’re getting them from doesn’t know what they’re doing or...whoever is ordering is saying they’ve ordered dottes but instead they’re getting rocks. I dunno. She’s for sure getting some barring though.

Hubs built a little tractor to attach their brooder to on nice days.

I’ll post a short video of nugget in a bit - gotta upload it to YouTube first.

Misty - don’t turn your back on ma nature!! I was worrying about you yesterday when I was trying to play catch up! (I didn’t make it last night. I got close...)View attachment 1303766View attachment 1303767View attachment 1303768View attachment 1303769View attachment 1303770

I bake or fry them, approximately 30- 45 minutes I cut open & check inside just to be safe. Hubby use to love those on the grill. Lots of :hugswish I could help you :love

Thanks wishing. :hugs all year we say “we’ll save that for the NOMADS.” So when they don’t want to do something, then I feel like a kid throwing a tantrum. I could’ve power washed and painted the coop myself, but they’re here. It’s a weird feeling to ask someone to do something that you have the time and ability to do. I’m going to paint the coop and move all the littles around, then get to work on the garden. Everyone here can be my digital NOMADS. :love
At your service:thumbsupnomad,no problem :love

Misty, not my pictures of the eagle. I wish they were. By the time I turned around to go back for a pic, the eagle was too far away.

Scooter is the first dog I've had with a sensitive stomach. Most dogs just horked down. Still searching for a good food for him. I will do the gradual change over like you said. Probably I have been messing him up changing too quickly.

Make sure you stop and take some time to appreciate your day. Counting your blessings goes a long way to reducing anxiety. There's always going to be more work to do, and a new day to get some of it done, but you will never get today back, so enjoy as much of it as you can. Hug your kids, hug your pups, and get a big hug from your DH. :hugs
Well they're still beautiful, :lovethanks for sharing

I’ve got so much that died after that hard frost we got a while back. I think I need to just do a purge of some stuff I’ve got in the front...as pretty as the crown of thorns are I don’t think they’re coming back.

Not sure about my hibiscus either. It may be a goner.
Aww poor Nugget :hugs
