Its a whole new ball game for preppers today then it was back then anyways. You wouldnt be looking for wells but stashed bottled water .

The 3 amigos have bonded to me. I thought ducks did that, not chickens ? These guys are different. They cant wait to get on my hand or under it and go into a feeding frenzy when I touch the food. I know they are eating good when Im not around but they are all 3 jumping up in my hand and I see them peering out of the bottom of the cage which is solid looking for me. Taking them outside isnt going to be easy.

They also hide behind the water when someone else comes close.

The friendliest one I had ended up not being afraid of me. He started going after me. I think I have harassed him into better behavior, but I don't like him now. No one can live up to the first little rooster we had. Incredibly sweet and such a gentle little bird.
