The cat was under the dresser where the keets were, with only tail and hind legs sticking out. I grabbed cat by the hind legs and hauled it out! Tossed it in the bathroom, caught the other cat and tossed it in the bathroom. Threw the dog out of the room for good measure. Meanwhile, keets running all around and i was late to leave for Drs. appt! Hubby can't bend over. I am face down on the floor, with the flashlight...looking for keets.

OMG Cap, you've had some pretty exciting days recently. Hope you caught all those little buggers lol.

I had 12 keets in the bin at last, and one i had to help out of the shell. It was still wet and kicking its feet so i put it in an egg carton and left in a hurry. I later called hubby and asked him to add water to the bator because i totally forgot!

And then, when i got back home tonight , 8 hours later.....hubby mentioned...Oh by the way i didn't see a temperature display on that incubator.....just the humidity!

I think they are calling for more snow on Saturday as well, but then we are supposed to warm up next week. I sure hope so. I will have the gs's for 4 days next week & hopefully we can get outside to play without having to wear snowgear.

Four of our 2018 hires came out today to help in the garden. They finished filling the one bed and transplanted popcorn, squash, and sunflowers, and attached the netting to front and top of both beds. We also planted in the garden, a whole bed of carrots and onions, then four buckets for tomatoes, and three for bell peppers. I cooked them corn maque choux for supper, but was too scatterbrained to pick up ingredients for anything else so that was our main course.
