Granny's gone and done it again

Wow. He just texted me.

“You get stuff done today?”

I responded laundry housework and coop cleaning but I guess that doesn’t count.

That was tempting. I also mentioned I gave his truck a quick dust off on the inside and he goes off about how he cleaned my car (he told me not to cause rain before he left the jerk) and watched Wonder Woman (the dvd was left in there after my dad watched it) and now he’s out for dinner with the dad in law and sis in law. Dead silence when I ask how they are.

Prostar, I am going to give you some unsolicited advice, so skip now if you don't want to hear it.
My advice is stop texting with your husband for the most part. If he wants to talk to you, tell him a time when you are free and he can call you or just text back and ask him to call you. Your feelings are getting hurt, but because he can't hear your voice, he doesn't know he he's causing the hurt. If he does know, and isn't making it better, well then you've got a whole different problem. Texting is great for "I'll be home at 6" or "please get me some beer when you go shopping" or "I love you" but for anything much more involved than that, talking is better. Way too easy to claim ignorance for someone's feelings when texting. Don't sacrifice real communication for convenience. :hugs

It’s good advice except for the fact that there would be a lot of “what? What?” That way. I’m gonna sit his butt down when he gets back and have a speaking to with him again.
