Granny's gone and done it again

ohh I never seen those before. I will look for them. I was told they are eating the roots of plants, aka can kill a tree. Hope I can find those. I would love to know why I have so many. Makes me nervous about termites.

oow, termites are a whole other problem.
I don't think the ants will kill their host plant. They often live in conjunction with plants, even farming fungi to eat. I have ants that live on and around my apple tree. It's almost like they are guarding it and eat any apples that get holes pecked in them or on the ground... but the chickens usually get them first.

I was just reading. says most likely the ants are after aphids . I still cant repot without them crawling all over me. Natural way includes coffee grounds , I know these excessive ants are here for a reason. If it benefiting my trees I dont want to kill them.

He put a lot of work into that. I dont feel like they looked at that as mom though. I simply see them being trained to come to a sound for food
Instinct, mom... kind of the same thing. I doubt they have the concept of a mother the way we do.

Did you notice the lightest colored duckie had waterlogging problems?
