They just may have 3 mothers lolJust praying that the other 2 broody's don't bother momma & babies. I don't have the area to seperate them & the other 2 broody's are still getting off the nest a couple of times a day to poop, eat & drink. The little roo hasn't bothered momma or babies. Everyone in there is gentle. Fingers crossed that that doesn't change.
well she is beautiful! Granny has pretty birds. That is Ya Betty from one of grannys eggs I brought home last spring. She's a Serama/Silkie mix.
Im surprised that your chickens don't keep it knocked down. There isn't a blade of anything in my chicken area.I have to mow. The chicken yard is tall!

I bet these babies will look more like mommy. They are pretty light in color.
mine too. They left the eggs they were sitting on because they heard the chirping chicks.Very possible, my silkie momma's did that.
That's what I'm a little worried with Curly Sue, she only has 1 & it's due in like 6 days. Granny bird I'm not worried about. She just wants to sit & since all my small egg layers are broody I've been just sticking 1 or 2 smaller LF eggs under her. So far none have been fertile, so hers are new today.mine too. They left the eggs they were sitting on because they heard the chirping chicks.
Hi there ma & paThis is the momma & the daddy of the eggs. Momma just wasn't broody at that time so Ya Betty got the eggs instead.
