I am a tree hugger in the literal sense. Love how solid and secure they feel, especially the oaks. I would not enjoy living where big trees don't grow.

We have some gigantic tulip trees! Sometimes they are in groups of 2 or 3. I really am in awe when i see a really big tree!

Here is my huggable oak... right in front of the house. It is a bit of a monster, too close and VERY MESSY.

It leans so much i would worry about it falling over! Beautiful though.

Today i planted 2 grape vines, cranberry beans, and sugar snap peas. I tilled a long area by hand....

That's what I'm a little worried with Curly Sue, she only has 1 & it's due in like 6 days. Granny bird I'm not worried about. She just wants to sit & since all my small egg layers are broody I've been just sticking 1 or 2 smaller LF eggs under her. So far none have been fertile, so hers are new today.

I hope she gets some babies!

Bet your pooped cap, I like my little Mantis tiller that hubs got me last year. Still kicks my butt using it but I love being able to turn the soil in the chicken runs & it helps a bunch when the garden is first planted. Makes my day when I don't have to hoe.
