Granny's gone and done it again

4 days on 10 polish & 2 silkie eggs. She's an EE. They say they won't go broody.

My best broody was EE.

My polish run is totally covered and the other run is mostly covered so unless they lay outside the eggs stay clean. Love it. Hubby was against it but i did it anyway.

Mine free range so my eggs get dirty muddy also. I just wash them.

Yeah, saying an EE doesn’t good Broody is weird because who knows what breeds it is made up of. Besides. Any hen can go Broody. The couldn’t procreate if they didn’t. The genes to reproduce should not be extinguished.

2 whole hrs sleep. That was with the med.DD does those piercing . Lots of peeps say they help.

Did she go to a school to learn piercing? Too bad there isn’t one for IBD.

Have you heard about the ear piercing that helps with migraines.?

haha... I wanted to get my ears pierced in 7th grade. Dad said sure, you have 2 choices... either I do the piercing or you wait until you're 18. Then, later while waiting for the bus, my girlfriend was messing with her earrings, and I saw one coming through from the back and it suddenly hit me that she has holes in her ears! I lost interest after that.

Funny thing is, I realize now that there was no way my dad could have done it had I chosen that. He was way too squeamish and didn't do well around blood back then. haha He won.

I rarely get a headache that advil can't handle, and that really was the first migraine in a couple years, so I got it covered. No holes in me but the ones I was born with!

I have to go out today. No way I can drive right now. My 8 hrs of no driving after taking that med. wont be up til 11

You never said where you're going. Can't it wait until tomorrow?

Busy day yesterday. Running dh errands, neighbors came w/ homemade cinnamon rolls. We sat outside & talked for an hour. I had given them 2 dozen eggs. Peas are popping up in the garden, everything is starting to grow. Tomato seeds have germinated---heirloom mix. As soon as soil dries some I must till the garden.

Sounds like a great day! cinnamon rolls...

Mines covered but wind blows rain in & dummies lay on the ground plus I didn't pick up eggs on Sunday.

I hang shade cloth on the windy side. Slows the rain down enough to keep the run mostly dry, but still allows air flow.

Baked potatoes are really good source of potassium add the salt to make it yummy

Did i tell you i lost my glasses in my bedroom today? I looked twice, hubby looked once. Then i put on my old glasses and found them on my night stand!
