Granny's gone and done it again

Lisa, I have a hen trying to eat the babys. I want them all gone. If I cant get help and cant do it alone I think I will just let them start free ranging. They wont last long that way. Im not crawling through chicken shat again screaming for help when I know no one can hear me.
I don't blame you hun. Do you know when the next swap is? Until then throw away every Serama egg. Don't candle them just chuck them over the hill. That way no more babies until you can get the adults sold.

Does he go to the farm ? Is he wanting eggs from them for free ? what about where the ducks are? Surely there arent that many ? I wouldnt hurt his feelings. Take them, let him know how very tickled you are with them. Throw him some eggs in a couple months and eat the sex links

yes he wants some of the eggs and some of the "meat chickens/springers" The Annex is FULL I have 25 adult ducks in that room and between 100-125 chickens in gen pop.

I suppose I could offer to take them latter so he wouldn't have to mess with them this winter.

I found a patch of guinea feathers yesterday while walking, this is right beside the house. I still have 5, so I’m no closer to solving the mystery. I also found two striped feathers that look older and at first I thought they were hanks, but now I think they might be barred owl. The call sounds like the one I hear at night. The two sites are probably unrelated, but I thought it was interesting.

He visits frequently and helps with the Yaks , he has his own place with 80 acres south of town. Big into horses and has a few head of cattle as well, The man turned 80 last year. He also brings all of his family out when they are in town visiting. and some of his friends to see the yaks.
