Granny's gone and done it again

Yep, me no sabbe either

How we see color is by light reflection. Say, a red pillow ABSORBS all the blue, green, yellow, etc. light, reflecting only the red light. Black and white absorb ALL or none of the light, so really, they aren't colors at all.

Well, blue is not common in the wild, only ONE land animal has figured out how to make a blue pigment. Birds create blue by bending light, they have special structures that scatter all other colors, and only allowing blue to be reflected. The feathers themselves, without the reflection, are black.

SO.... When DD was a baby I moved to the projects. For those not familiar its housing for low/no income ghetto style. DDs father was driving a cab. He worked nights and our rent based on income was $40.00 a month. Utilities included. I was getting no sleep at all. Reason being, DD had me up through the day and every single night Someone would try to break in. I did get tired of this pretty quickly . So I borrowed a gun. I thought, this will be the last night I am afraid for my DDs life . I took my normal spot and waited. Sure enough after about 2 hrs . of lights out I see the window sliding up and a hand. I shot a man that night. I found the blood on the window the next morning. I dont have a clue if he may have died, just a scratch or what . What I do know is for the next week it took me to find somewhere else to live I wasnt bothered any more.
Yup that's how you do it show no remorse for those SOBs:thumbsup

I went to check the littles with the mama hen and one was on its side, cold but hanging on. It was taking a gasp every couple seconds. They were walking on it so mama had gave up. Not this mama . Been working on it for a while and its breathing normal, warm, chirping, drinking. I dont think it has drank or ate since birth. After an hr or more it passed urine then I forced fed it 2 tiny bites of egg. Its not interested in pecking. It is now willing to drink and can stand. I am not leaving the water in there as I am afraid its not strong enough to get out if it went in. I am giving it gatoraid in the water 50/50 mix and vitamin/water 80/20 in a cap lid. (the stinky stuff) I think its too weak or sleepy to be interested in pecking at anything. Maybe I will go get one of its hatch mates to encourage it tomorrow if it has its feet good. I dont see any defects on it. I have to wonder if it might be the last one I found (not hers) and added to her the next day. When I first gave it water it tried to hold its little head up and it was trembling.
:fl for this little fighter.
Aww :hit:flprayers:hugs

Because the weather and it’s been a day from hell. I’m just done mentally and physically which just makes me super easy to p*** off. It’s downpouring so I can’t do chores. Had an unexpected visitor for awhile earlier so that wasted time, then went to town to pick something up and waited 30 minutes for the woman to say she forgot. I just can’t deal.
:hugsI hear you, heres my day in a nutshell:he
