Dinner out was very good, love Red Lobster. Stopped at Hobby Lobby and Lowes. Hobby Lobby didn't give me credit for my coupon. At Lowes i didn't find the little brooder light i was looking for. Bah! Tired tonight. I peeled a couple quail out of their eggs, some live and some not. And one polish was stuck so i helped it out and washed it.
Going out soon to close up the coop doors etc.

@AlleysChicks, his temp is 100.6 and he was laying down but we got him up. He drank just a bit of milk and ate a mouthful of hay. He’s soaking wet in either scours or urine, not sure.

Just a little low. Should be about 101.5
How old is he? He’s very thin. He needs some calories. How’s his gums? Cold? Tacky? I’m worried that you’re not sure lol that means it’s watery. Did you get him a shot of pen?

How old is he? He’s very thin. He needs some calories. How’s his gums? Cold? Tacky? I’m worried that you’re not sure lol that means it’s watery. Did you get him a shot of pen?

Not sure how old, he’s 70lbs but I’m thinking about 20 underweight? (by the other which is 90). I put fingers in his mouth to see if he’d suck but don’t remember them feeling cold and I bet I would’ve. Definitely scouring, from clear like water to dark brown/green. No shots but I’m going to TSC tomorrow. I really need to have more stuff on hand. I’m just super relieved I didn’t need to tube him.

I’m naming him Ranger after an emaciated, mangey pup I fostered once.

Will he get chilled like the buckling? Do I need to run the electric for the heat lamp?

I’d add heat just in case. With his temp slightly low and the diarrhea better to be warm than trying to stay warm.

Hey you are doing the best you can. It’s not like you already have a herd of cattle that you keep supplies for.

Hi I'm home had lunch great news,dr came out said hubby has Her,acid reflux,slight hernia in esophagus.Hubby has had these problems most of his life except for the hernia Dr said no signs of cancer but took tissue samples just to be safe.Hubby will see cancer Dr on Thursday go from there . Also he'll have this surgery again in 2 months to make sure medicine is workingthank you everyone for your thoughts prayers & sentiments

So far I have Twists bones, Lisas maters , dried pintos that I have no idea where they came from (just a small amount) and a box of chicken broth. Meat is more tender then the beans . Still planning on frozen veggies

you really shouldn't need any extra broth. BUT your the cook there at least

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think for a second that he doesn’t love me. There’s things he does though that seem selfish (or crazy) that I know are a result of how he was brought up...

and they drive you up a tree been there
