Went out to give Ranger the heat lamp and he was standing at the door waiting for me. He drank two quarts of blue electrolytes earlier and they were just as blue coming back out, poor thing. I couldn’t rinse him off but I did give him an entire bale of clean shavings so hopefully he’ll be comfy tonight. Back to TSC for electrolytes tomorrow. Apparently scouring in calves is easier to treat than in goats. Everything I’ve read says to just give them extra fluids with electrolytes until it passes.

Poor Ranger. Im glad its easier to treat Camping. Thats why he has the hair loss then.

Congrats Camp on your new Little one. Sure hope you get him feeling better soon. You are one strong lady hun, I would still be in the corner licking my wounds over losing the goat. I'm glad there are more people like you in the world. You Go Girl!
