Hubs got a walk behind trencher. Gave up. Now is getting a bigger ride on beast. He’s digging trench to run power down to his shop and also going to do a water/irrigation line too. Getting some food and had to get a trench shovel. Whee.

Nugget helped me remove some rocks by my tea tree bushes. Needed a bug patrol chicken

So I cleaned the brooder out again. Turns out there are 20 chicks in the garage so I split the bigger fully feathered ones up into another brooder. As the others start filling in I’ll move them over. Hopefully I’ll end up with 10 in each (1 with heat and the other without currently) before I move them outside.

Morning, all. Birthday bash is today, biggest event of the year. Baby girl goat died yesterday, and I’m sure it’s because the big goats weren’t letting her eat. I’m so upset about it. Ranger is picky about his milk now, but up drinking water and nibbling at calf feed. He was scouring less but it’s yellow today, so maybe too much milk again? I need to hose him down good. Kane is here and killed the big rat snake that was eating all of Fluttershy’s eggs. I’m not sure how many she has left, only 4 yesterday but I found a broken shell today so maybe she’s actually the one eating them. She’s not a very good broody. Racecar is doing great.

Bubba, DH, and I are over the virus. DH and I still feel weak. DD is blowing from both ends and was so sick yesterday she didn’t have time to get up, so she pooped on the sofa and puked on the floor three separate times. DH was not home and I threatened to divorce him. This heat just zaps me so bad.

I asked Robert if he liked my flowers when he come home last night. They literally take up the whole front of the porch. He said, What flowers ?
