Alley, I noticed something odd about that egg. One yolk had been fertilized for a couple days. You said she just laid it right ?

Yep. She’s my only white egg layer and I collect eggs daily.

I didn’t touch food to be served or hug necks today. Got a few loads of laundry done. Heat has drained me. I should go look for ice cream.

So i now have the triple brooder full with my purchase of 15 , 2 week old quail. I need to build a turkey tractor or 2 asap!

And shopped a lot. Plus i planted yellow stringed beans where some critter chewed them off. Thinking maybe snails or slugs so i might put out some beer for them. And i planted some violets i grew from seed, alyssum and zinnias.
It rained so much some of my strawberry plants got washed away!
