Granny's gone and done it again

it’s a wonder these are all alive. They had a coon problem. Said they had 70 chickens and down to less than 20 now. And they switched the rabbits between the hutch and a dog kennel.

The Cali/Himalayan whatever it is doe has some major barbering issue. Her back legs are bald and she’s a rack of bones.
That is what happens with chicken wire. Were they not feeding the rabbits enough? Or maybe worms?

Star , They gave me IV Rocephin
He'll likely prescribe one of the following antibiotics to treat it before the culture comes back:
  • Ampicillin.
  • Ceftriaxone (Rocephin)
  • Cephalexin (Keflex)
  • Ciprofloxacin (Cipro)
  • Fosfomycin (Monurol)
  • Levofloxacin (Levaquin)
  • Nitrofurantoin (Macrodantin, Macrobid)
  • Trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim, Septra)

I don’t think the chickens were behind chicken wire. They had wooden gates and dog kennel walls.

The NZ are big and healthy, the other 2 are thin just so small. Maybe 4lbs each? Doe had some wet poo on her when I was checking them over this morning. I don’t think they were getting food. They didn’t even have food or water in the hutch.

Hi all, home . Tom will have a ct scan on the 14th then he will need to go to cinci for surgery. IF he is too badly blocked and they dont want to do anything. Both legs severely blocked . Dr said he could do the surgery if it wasnt blocked too badly. I said, I checked you out this am. You are a general surgeon I want a specialist so he will send him to Good Sams . I am already nervous about driving . He wanted to send us to meet the surgeon /consult and I told him no. Do the test, we will meet his day of surgery . Not making extra trips . He said well, he needs to explain the ricks ,ect.. I said, we know the risks so he will do as I ask.
I'm a little confused... is there a chance they will deny him surgery?
I think you are smart to go to a specialist.

That is just reprehensible! It's a wonder they were alive!
