I just want to know how they fit so many eggs under them! Bitty can only cover 3 silkie eggs.
 I cant help it.
I cant help it. The eggs are half the size of silkies. One hen has 3, one has 7 .one has 8. two has 2. and one has too many to count. Out of all of these I can reach 2 nests

I have a hard time finding grass here, so i cut honeysuckle or other nontoxic weeds. Every time i weed the garden the bunnies and chickens get their goodies. This one was stillborn. Still had a wet umbilical cord.
Cap what do you feed to bulk up buns?
Yeah, but we have no grass to speak of, just weeds and they are not near the chicken yard.Im lazy Cap, When I mow I get about 4 mower lengths away from the run and keep cutting the grass so it throws it towards the run then last go around they get a bunch of already chopped up greens.
