Ok for me. Tom has appt. tomorrow. No rest for the wicked. Awesome your DH gained 5 lbs. So did I. Not so great there. LOL I told them their scale was garbage. They just moved and I said you have to re-calibrate those scales after they are moved.

sounds like a REALLY good excuse to me.

my nephew hammers like that. And then breaks the handle. 6 count them 6 different handles I had to replace after he left. The wood ones I sort of understand but a fiberglass one ,

Just got home... been gone all day. Spent some time talking with the new school counselor for #2. She had tons of good ideas for colleges for him... some place where he can study what he wants AND enjoy his life at the same time. No big cities. No schools for overachievers. His test scores are super high, but his grades are not. Smart kid. Too smart to waste his time learning stuff he is not interested, and too smart for busy work. Counselor was very reassuring and took a huge load off my mind.

I am surprised her "little voice" isn't permanently mute.

He's going to study engineering and there are lots of good programs that offer projects and practical learning rather than just boring study out of a book. He's happiest if he can build something. Still working on that motorcycle rebuild!

Guess I'll have to be satisfied with that. I was hoping he'd get into animals so I would have an excuse to expand my menagerie! Oh well.

well in a few/many more years you can just be "that crazy lady with all the animals"

UFFDA just sort of "went off" on one of the monthly renter's calling about hot water.
Cheese and Rice give the poor thing a chance and all of you idiots constantly running water to see if it is hot aint helping I did go over an burner is running BUT I did turn the temp almost as high as it will go. Sort of hope they scald their tender bits

Thanks Hun, they are better today other than the back spasms. Did too much & standing on hard kitchen tiles all day making strawberry jam hasn't helped any.

Chemo went great hubby gained 5 pounds
CT scan cancelled cause they forgot to order meds hospital protocol so tomorrow more time lost a work insurance company can't cover his leave of absence yet not enough hourstime to nap

Sorry Misty, they sure can mess a day up. Too bad it isn't on their dollar. Poor hubs can't get enough hours working with all these appointments, but then to screw up his day sucks.

Lisa they make "anti" fatigue matts/rugs now that are cushie and you can throw in the washer maybe look into those.
