Did I scare everyone away? Was hoping to get on last night, but didn't get done working until 9:45 p.m. Then by the time I showered & sat down to read I was just too tired to chat. Summer time is crazy hectic around here, so if I'm missing for days it usually just means my work load is greater than the amount of time in my day. This is why I appreciate late fall & into Winter. The only time life slows down a bit for us.

Good morning Grannyland ~ nice to finally have a minut to get on and chat.
TGIF ~ wish it made a difference for me, but all it means for me is 2 more work days with hubs home & the adult kids home. Hubs is picking up the stain for the decks & coops today, so I know what I will be doing this weekend in addition to the daily chores


Misty, there is a thing called the bomb. Grannys nurse sister swears by it. It's Milk of Mag & prune juice. You would have to get the correct mixture from her, but is it something that can be put thru his tube??

To me Costco is like Sams Club but with a larger selection.

What a great video Benny. It's amazing what a few smart people can figure out. Then to use that knowledge to educate people in areas where growing food is darn near impossible in the traditional sense. I wish all countries could get along & learn to work together for the betterment of our world.

Thank you but the last time hubby tried prunes he got sick not sure what caused it possibly allergic & lactose intolerant but I appreciate it he's going just a little at a time

Fortunately for me it wasn't super hot & the humidity wasn't off the charts either. Super glad as I had plants that needed to be sprayed with Incestsidal soap, watering of all 4 garden spots, weed whipping & mowing for part of my day. I had lots of other little jobs, some inside such as making jam labels, washing jam jars & labeling them. Getting shelves from the veggie stand washed & put back in & product put on the shelves. New signs made for the shelves in the stand. I'm so happy that we aren't as hot as you are H2o, I wouldn't survive lol.

Have they tried suppositories for him. It is miserable when medicines cause constipation. I can be sympathetic of that, have my own problems there in addition to IBS w/constipation. Sure hope they can find something that will help him. Miserable way to feel
