Not with the rifle. All I had was a big heavy ratchet and every time I rared back it looked at me and I couldn’t think about the sound it was going to make. So I banged around a few times, then put water jugs on the lids to weigh them down.

At home was able to get some rest hubby's tube was giving him trouble again saw the acidity level was high just by color in tube.So I said we'll call the Dr in the morning about not even an hr later lights were on he tried to do his dressing which he has done before but in the process he pulled a me & cut the tube then he coughed tube fell out acidity was everywhere chewing at his skin it was horrible.Finally arrived at hospital & they had new staff phew cause normally as posted before night staff are idiots but these guys worked pretty quickly & the nurse we had also was a cancer patient hers was rare can't remember name it's around her throat we saw the surgical site Anyways tube was replaced CT scan was a pass & all is good for now.Although hubby is pissed cause he was looking forward to going to work last week was a right off. I just said tomorrow he's now restingHow's you & yours doing any more hatchingswell thanks for thesame to you

Glad they are up here. That fire more than doubled overnight. 8,500+ acres and growing. Zero percent containment as of the 5 o'clock news. Everyone is anxious... going to be a long summer.

It’s going to be one heck of a fire season. What blows my mind is how many people are still completely stupid. Fireworks...vehicles that backfire and pop, smokes out the windows...backyard fires on breezy days...

To be fair, this friend and hubs aren’t fire fighters, they’re mechanics. But the motto for the California fire mechanic academy is still true...”without us they walk”. It for sure takes a team. Continuing to catch up then I’ll post some bitties bedtime pictures.

Good news for me...they were having dust baths before bedtime. So between washing my car and bedtime I’m an icky mess haha. They haven’t quite figured out the shoulder always so I do have to hunch it up a bit.
